Laurie Lee is an experienced business attorney who has practiced law in Florida for over twenty years. She knows what it’s like to set up a successful practice from scratch. Laurie created her own law practice in 2015 called The Legal Department for Service Professionals. Her practice has grown into a law firm that helps service professionals throughout Florida set up and manage their businesses.
Throughout her career, Laurie was always sensitive to the lack of access to good legal advice for small businesses. While trying to find ways to make her services practical and valuable, Laurie implemented a flat fee pricing model that allows for transparency and informed decision-making. She values straight-forward communication and finds ways to explain complex legal topics in an understandable and useful way.
Everything Laurie does is meant to make it easier for small businesses to get good legal advice. Her background in teaching gives her the unique ability to share her knowledge and experience with hundreds of small business owners. She creates educational materials that are offered through her law firm and through the various courses she teaches online and in person.
After realizing the shortage of mental health professionals throughout the United States, and understanding the importance and impact counselors have on people’s lives, Laurie decided to put her skills to use creating legal education materials specifically for counselors who want to open their own private practice. Through her law firm, she has deeply enjoyed working with her clients in Florida who are mental health professionals and has used her knowledge of the profession and its legal and ethical requirements to create The Legal Guide for Private Practice.
Laurie sincerely hopes that you find immense benefit from using The Legal Guide to set up your own private practice in a way that serves you professionally, personally and financially.
